Born with an insatiable love of horses , this Atlanta native has called Tennessee and N.W. Georgia home since 1989.
I was always encouraged by my mother, Atlanta artist and teacher Kathryn Burke,of Kathryn Burke Studios..
Though offered a two-year art scholarship to UGA , I chose to follow my dreams and became a member of the horse industry.
Retired after 35 yrs.as a riding instructor, breeder of Arabian and Appaloosa horses and a horse whisperer in general.. I am back to my 1st love of drawing and writing about horses.
